Beginner Class

There will be a FREE beginner class today at 1pm, run by Sam and Erica. Come in and get some! And be sure to ask us about elements class

Workout

We will be open from 1pm to 3pm for any members of either Manhattan or Brooklyn to come and make up a workout. Especially any running wods (like Saturdays or Helen)

Once again, I made up a WOD that I could not finish.

the plan:
2 rope climbs (no legs, start seated, touch girder) / 1 185# back squat
2 rope climbs (no legs, start seated, touch girder) / 2 185# back squats
2 rope climbs (no legs, start seated, touch girder) / 3 185# back squat
...
...
...
2 rope climbs (no legs, start seated, touch girder) / 10 185# back squats

the reality:
Aborted the rope climbs after #13 when I deemed that level of wear and tear on my hands was getting unacceptable. Did the next 7 back squats and then substituted 7 burpees for each remaining (6) climbs for a total of 42 burpees.
Also, twice I had to use my feet to clamp on the rope to reach the beam.

Probably not a usable time since I had to change the workout mid-WOD and spent a lot of time taping my hands.
