1 1/2 pood Kettlebell X 21 swings (or 55 pound dumbbell swing)
12 Pull-ups

Manhattan Crowd: Want to maximize your chance for a PR on tonight’s “Helen?” Then go out to Black Box Brooklyn (8 minutes on the L-Train from Union Square plus a three-block walk; get out at Grahm, walk on Metropolitan to 817, just past the White Castle).

BBB is the perfect setup for WOD’s involving sprints:

o Large garage doors just off the street
o Clear unobstructed runs
o Virtually pedestrian free path
o Kettlebells positioned right at the end of the run
o Pull-up bars positioned in front of the door

You wont find a better setup anywhere. Take a few extra minutes and make the trip, tonight; whenever the WOD is sprinting intensive; or whenever the boat seems too crowded.

We’re working out a new schedule there, but for the next week or so, you’ll be safe showing up between 6:30 and 7:30.


If i get there at 6:30, can i get the WOD in before the beginners class?

i skipped yesterday's burpees so i have now deposited a total of 70 burpees in the burpee bank that i will need to withdraw at some point. that will be a fun day

Great job everyone on Helen tonight. Beginners kicked much ass!!!! You actually made me think about doing it as well. But rest day for us Performance Menu WOD'ers.
