I was at CrossFit Old Town today - where I started CrossFit way back when. I report to OCS on Friday. CFOT has 23 athletes competing at their area's sectional qualifiers. Now they have about 2 times as many members as we do, but that said, I want some BK representation. If you're reading this and think it doesn't apply to you, you're wrong. Compete. You won't believe how motivating it is.

Great job 1pm crew! Avery way to set the standard on today wod. I wish everyone could see your lunges and broad jumps.at least 6 feet on each jump. Awesome! I would say all that heavy back squating is helping.
counting lengths of the gym proved much more difficult than one would think. I'm pretty sure I'm not a retard but did very little to prove otherwise today.

FYI
"length" = the matted portion of the floor (~1/3 50 meters)
50 m -> 3 lengths
100 m -> 6 lengths
Does that mean I did almost double the work I needed to?
Jeff I want to see what your "length" works out to....
everyone seems to have done almost double, which is why everyone in manhattan did this quicker. we did 5 lengths for the walking lunges and 10 for the broad jumps. in my post I was referring to the fact that I couldn't count to 10 and the first round I did 11 and the second I only did 9 and had to make one up before the third round. I admit, I'm not that smart. Anyway, afterwards we measured and if you measure from the end of the mats on the side with the computer to where the chalk mark was near the end of the pull ups bars, that was 50 feet.

Sorry avery I did miscalculate. You did almost a full round more of lunges and jumps. I measured it with my stride which was longer than a meter.your time was probably 6-7 minutes faster. Apologies.
Figure I better post so I can compare...even though the measurements were a bit off. Glad we did too much and not too little, then my soreness is a little justified!
