Black box WOD

15:33 (skipped 2nd round of swings) lower back was wrecked after the second round of DLs. Tried to roll it out but was still in too much pain to do swings.

4 rounds
4 snatches ~125#
4 muscle ups
12:18

I could have spent more time warming up with full squat snatches (nobody likes a sloppy snatch). I also probably would have been better off decreasing the weight to 115# or so. My first round was power snatches. My success rate for snatches in the later four rounds was around 67%.

Muscle ups were (relatively) strict and unbroken.

hey this blog is great. I'm glad I came by this blog. Maybe I can contribute in the near future. PM ME on Yahoo AmandaLovesYou702

This blog is great. I'm glad I came by too.

Did the chipper WOD from GE sectionals today. Not as bad as the 2009 games chipper.

For Time:
60 KB Swings (1.5/1 pood)
50 Box Jumps (24")
40 Wall Balls (20/12lb)
30 Pull-ups
20 GHD Sit-ups (2009 Games ROM, details available in video format below)
10 Snatches (115/65lb squat or power, no press out)
100ft Overhead Lunge (45/25lb)

Not sure why I did 20 inch box jumps, but whatever, everything else rx'd for women, plus 14# wall balls. (That 12 lb wall ball has to be a typo right?)

15:25 minutes

And yeah Avery, this blog is great. I had a delightful conversation with AmandaLovesYou702 and she is gonna be signing up for elements soon! Can't wait. BFF's forever.

Laura and I need to work on sprinting techniques since we're going to the Winter Games in Stocchi in 2014. Maybe the next rest day.

Started doing the total, but only got through the back squats and some press warmups before I ran out of time. Took longer to warm up than I expected.

Got 335 easily and missed 350 2x. PR is 345. Need to focus on sitting back more

Wow, my blog has times less comments than here.

Hey ...compliments for the very informative article.I'm really happy I found it on googleKeep up the wonderfull work because I for sure will visit for updates

Hello...from the beggining I have to say I didn't had a good read from a extended time.Truly glad i discovered it on google.I was speaking with my friends yesterday about this issue and I have to state you clear out a lot of things. Thanks and good luck

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like 'Mixview' that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you're listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of "neighbors" will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune "Social" is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
